December 26,1964 – Coach Red Auerbach starts Willie Naulls in place of an injured Tom Heinsohn in the Boston Celtics line-up with Tom Sanders, K.C. Jones, Sam Jones, and Bill Russell, completing the first-ever all African-American starting five in NBA history.
